What is Asthma?
Asthma is a chronic condition that makes the airways in your lungs inflamed and sensitive. When triggered, these airways narrow, causing difficulty breathing.
Common Symptoms
- Shortness of breath

- Coughing(often at night or early morning)
What Causes Asthma Flare-Ups?
Flare-ups happen when something irritates your airways.
Common Triggers
- Allergens(pollen, dust mites, pets, mold)
- Respiratory infections
- Exercise
- Smoke, perfumes, or strong odors
- Weather changes
- Stress
- Air pollution
Knowing your triggers is one of the most important steps in controlling asthma.

- Sleeping well
- Normal activity
- Continue daily controller medications.

- Bluish lips
- Rescue inhaler not helping
- Use rescue medication and seek medical care immediately.
